HI Everyone,
What fun I had today getting to know animoto. I can see myself using this fun and easy to use program all the time. In fact after my project I made several for my friends and boyfriend and they are so easy to make and look great. I love the freeplaymuscic.com site. It takes the worry about using music for my projects and what a selection! I could see myself using animoto to make my own slide shows for example the life cycle of the butterfly- made by Lindsey Walberg. I also plan to make a year end slide show of all the events that we enjoyed this year in class!
I also used picnik.com to edit a few of my photographs. I used the red eye reduction, tried to put a border around it but I needed to pay money for that, and I cropped my shots. I was not as impressed with this editing program and will be interested in how others interpret this program. I prefer to use my iphoto photo editing software.
I hope you enjoy my short animoto project. I took a workshop at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center this past summer. It was called Integrating the Arts into Science. I have taken 8 different workshops this year after school and I have received my Arts Integration Level 1 certificate. I love integrating the arts into my curriculum. It really deepens the learning for the children. This video is about a lesson on Water Dances that I taught last week! Enjoy!
